PancreasFest – comments and suggestions

August 4th, 2010

PancreasFest is an annual meeting of physician-scientists who desire to work together to advance knowledge and treatment of pancreatic diseases.  Your feedback to the organizing committees will make this an even better meeting.  General comments are welcome, as posted on www.pancreasfest.org – e.g. “Honestly, this was the best meeting I have been to in my entire life!” - a mid-career physician scientist.  However, specific suggestions are also needed.

The focus of PancreasFest 2011 (PF11) will be on acute pancreatitis.

Please feel free to post your comments here.

    Hello,
I am a minimal change chronic pancreatitis patient. I have been doing months of research on my issues and I am so happy to see something like “PancreasFest”. I, as well as many other sufferers would like to suggest having a patient track at this conference to share medical centers that are “in the know” about these serious diseases. I am amazed at the amount of inexperience in the medical professionals in this area. I also have realized how this area is so understudied. Please feel free to contact me, I am willing to share my story to help others. I would be so thankful if there was a patient track for an event like this. Thank you for your time.
